Book Project Pathfinding

Start your book project with a writing plan you can believe in.

Unf*ck your book idea

A focused, one-hour Zoom session to break down your book idea and get you started on the journey to becoming an author!

$300

  • It’s time for a brutally honest look at your book idea: what works, what doesn’t, and what it will take to turn your idea into a book.

  • It’s never too early to talk about who would want to read your book and how your book might help readers and stand out on a crowded shelf.

  • We’ll take a look at how to approach the writing and publishing process.
    Including,
    Self-publishing vs. traditional,
    Ghostwriting vs. DIY.

  • After the call, I’ll send over notes on what we discussed, suggested next steps, and anything else I can think of.

Book Project Pathfinding

Two 90-minute Zoom Sessions and a pile of follow-up materials to launch your book project with confidence.

$1,800

  • We’ll start by identifying your book’s central theme.
By the end of our first session, you will have a clear book concept you can believe in.
In session two, we’ll expand on your book concept and work to put it in an outline.

  • We’ll break down your desired outcomes for your book and how to take those into account in the writing process. We’ll also talk about your target audience and how to reach them.

  • A look at the path to getting your book written and published!

  • Notes from our sessions and a clear plan for getting started on your book.

  • A one-page outline of your book complete with structure, theme, and narrative device.
How much detail we go into here will depend on how far along you are in your brainstorming.

  • Prompts to help you start thinking about your book from the reader’s point of view.

  • An absolute beast of a doc, full of hard-earned writing wisdom, insider knowledge, and reading recommendations.

Book Coaching

Writing can be lonely, but you don’t have to do it alone. Get support, feedback, and accountability with book coaching sessions over Zoom.

If you’re starting from scratch, book coaching includes everything you get with project pathfinding, plus regular coaching sessions.

Which option is right for you?

Is your book idea just an idea?

If you’re still in the early stages of exploring your idea, an “unf*ck your book idea” session will help you get your book concept locked in or figure out if your book is actually worth writing or if you need a new idea.

Ready to get started on your book but don’t know where to start?

If you’ve been thinking about writing a book for a long time and have a pretty good sense of what you want to say, a Pathfinding session will help you turn those ideas into a basic outline and a plan to get the book written and published.

Why not both?

If you’ve already done an unf*ck your book idea session, you can put the cost of that session towards a pathfinding session.

The same goes for ghostwriting. If you want me to help write your book, we can put the cost of your pathfinding session towards your ghostwriting project fee.

Charlie will be there with you 'in-the-trenches' to assist with the difficult, but necessary work of editing and revising; ensuring you're saying exactly what you want to say, in the best way you can say it.”
